ITINERARY:

Day 1

• Arrival in Kigali International Airport (Arrival time to be communicateed)
• A brief city tour and a visit to The Kigali Genocide Memorial
• Embark on a 3-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze District
• Arrive at your lodge, check-in and relax
• Dinner and overnight stay

Day 2

• Delight in early morning breakfast
• Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing
• Begin your thrilling trek through the dense rainforest in search of mountain gorillas
• Spend one hour observing the gorilla family in their natural habitat, witnessing their interactions, feeding habits and behaviors up-close
• Return to your lodge to relax
• Dinner and overnight stay

Day 3

• After breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for briefing
• Trek through the bamboo forest to find these playful and lively primates
• Spend an hour observing them as they leap through the tree and interact in their natural habitat
• In the afternoon, we can visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for scenic views and photography (optional)
• Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4

• Savor breakfast
• Check-out and begin your journey back to Kigali
• Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your international flight back home (departure times to be advised)
