Located in Kiambu county, Lari sub county, approximately 90km from the capital Nairobi, Ragia forest which forms part of the Aberdare forest ecosystem ,which has a huge spectrum of flora and fauna has become one of the biggest adventuring zones in East  Africa, esp. by hikers and trekkers who come to enjoy the beautiful sceneries that comprises of the 2 magnificent breathtaking  waterfalls, towering bamboo canopies, scenic forest trails and meandering streams.

What to carry

1. Good grip, comfortable hiking / running shoes. 
2. Long  hiking or gyms pants & long-sleeved hiking t-shirt (polyester is recommended) and light jacket 
3. Extra or Spare Sports Trainers, light shoes or  Sandals, for changing after the hike
4. A set of clothes for change after hike.
5. Drinking water, 3 liters atleast.
